Congrats to RHS Mock Trial- 2024 Tulare County Champions!
What is Mock Trial?
The Mock Trial program was created in 1980 by the Constitutional Rights Foundation (CRF), now "Teach Democracy". Student teams study a hypothetical criminal case, argue pre-trial motions, create questions for direct and cross examination, make objections, and receive guidance from volunteer attorneys in courtroom procedures and trial preparation. Teams compete against each other in a county competition in January and February at the County Courthouse in front of real judges. Winners of the county competition move on to the State competition where 36 county winners compete annually.
