Hokie Passport

The Hokie Passport is your student ID card and is optional for online students. 

Students in the Northern Virginia area can obtain a Hokie Passport at Hokie One Stop located in the Innovation Campus - Alexandria, Virginia. Please bring a photo id and your student ID number. 

A Hokie Passport can also be obtained on the Virginia Tech campus in Blacksburg at Hokie Passport Services. Hokie Passport Services is located in the Student Services Building at 800 Washington St. SW, Suite 100, Blacksburg, VA 24061.

Please note that in order to get your Hokie passport you must be a student in the current semester for the library to see you in the system. 

Student ID cards are optional, so you do not need to get one if you are not local to the Northern Virginia/ DC  or Blacksburg areas. Student discounts are available to ID holders. Additional benefits while in Blacksburg are the ability to swipe it for access, make purchases and it can be used at Commencement instead of an index card.
