Ghadir Asadi

I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Economics at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. I received my master's degree in Economics from Sharif University of Technology in 2012 and my bachelor from Shahid Beheshti University in 2009, both in Tehran, Iran. My research areas of interest are Applied Microeconomics, Environmental Economics, Sustainable Development, Labor Economics, and Economics of Education.

Currently, as a graduate instructor, I am teaching principles of economics (Micro and Macro). At VTech, I am working as a Teaching Assistant for the Department of Economics and the Department of Management. I have a continuous research collaboration with the School of Education as well. Before joining VTech, I worked as a graduate researcher in the Statistical Research and Training Center, and Sharif Institute of Economic and Industrial Studies. I have also collaborated with the Bureau of Economic Research at the Iranian Privatization Organization as a project manager.

I am on the job market this year (2019/20) and will be available for interviews.
