New Committee: "No Child is Alone"

A group of VSY parents are starting a committee focused on building our community and strengthening our children’s social and emotional health. A variation of “No Child Eats Alone”, we are naming our committee “No Child is Alone”. This committee of parents will be dedicated to making sure all VSY students have equitable access to social and community-related events. We are excited to get started and see all the extra smiles that come when each VSY student realizes they are welcome and can be active members of our school community. Ideally, we would like one committee member per class. Please email Sara Klavan at president@vsypta.org or Brittnie Rowan, “No Child is Alone” Committee Chair, at outreach@vsypta.org if you are interested in helping.
