Accelerated Math & 6 Math
Accelerated Math:
This week students practiced more with decimal operations and dividing fractions. We did several different activities to practice during class, we even went to the library to work through some breakout boxes! Students also took a Post-test on Friday over decimal operations and dividing fractions. Grades will be updated in Infinite Campus. Any student that is unhappy with their score can come to my Hawktime on Monday to retake the assessment.

In Reading, students have begun working with Plot and Plot Diagrams with fictional stories.

This week we learned how to use microscopes and labeled the different parts. We looked at a variety of slides and practiced drawing and describing what we saw. We finished the week learning about living and nonliving characteristics and introduced cells.
