Accelerated Math:

This week we worked on finding surface area of polyhedrons.  Students can find surface area of prisms and pyramids.  They will have  a project assessment next Wednesday and Thursday.

Reading

In Reading, students are beginning our new online unit and site called Amplify. We are piloting this site to test whether or not it is a curriculum we use in the future.

Writing

In Writing, students are taking notes over Greek mythological heroes and demigods and then will be writing and creating their own stories.

This week we learned about evaporation, transpiration, and respiration and how it relates to the water cycle.
