Geography
We are learning about migration and the reasons people move about the country. Students applies their knowledge of regions in the United States to determine what region they would like to live in someday and why. The Southeast and West were the two most popular regions according to our class. We discussed reasons for this and applied logic from class like the five themes of geography to explain why people would move or migrate to these regions.
Geography
We are learning about the mountain ranges of the USA - specifically the Rockies and the Appalachian. We are comparing and contrasting them.
Please restock your child with pencils for class. Thank you.
Health & PE
In Health, students explored their values and beliefs of right and wrong. Students also started working on developing good decision making skills.
In PE students, participated in a variety of activities that worked on skill-related fitness and played Beat the Basket that required teamwork and worked cardiovascular endurance.
