Students will view a powerpoint about plot.
Students will work on completing centers in small groups about plot.
Those students who need additional targeted practice with this standard will be pulled for small group instruction with Mrs. Richling.

Students will view a powerpoint about text structures.
Students will work on completing centers in small groups about text structures.

Wednesday 5/3: Morning Work: Sam Walton passage with questions.
Social Studies: Students will continue our unit on Regions of the US. We will read about the Northeast Region resources/culture.
Students will take an open notes quiz on the information that we read.
We will continue practicing nonfiction text structures.
Students will begin complete a color by text structure page to decipher between the 5 types of text structures.
Thursday 5/4: Morning Work: Belling the Cat passage with questions.
We will continue our review of reading skills taught this year. Today we will review comparing and contrasting.
Students will view a powerpoint about comparing and contrasting text.
Students will work on completing centers about comparing/contrasting.
Those students who need additional targeted practice with this standard will be pulled for small group instruction with Mrs. Richling.
We will continue our cursive packets.
Friday 5/5: Spelling, vocabulary, and comprehension assessment **LAST spelling and vocabulary test for the school year!**
Students will finish up any unfinished center work from the week.
