Monday 4/24: Morning Work: The Free Market System passage with questions.

We will continue our review of reading skills taught this year. Today we will review theme/central message.

Students will view a powerpoint about theme/central message.

Students will work on completing centers in small groups about theme/central message.

Those students who need additional targeted practice with this standard will be pulled for small group instruction with Mrs. Richling.

We will continue our cursive packets.

Tuesday 4/25: Morning Work: Scarcity passage with questions.

     We will continue our review of reading skills taught this year. Today we will review context clues.

Students will view a powerpoint about context clues.

Students will work on completing centers in small groups about context clues.

Those students who need additional targeted practice with this standard will be pulled for small group instruction with Mrs. Richling.

We will continue our cursive packets.

Wednesday 4/26: Morning Work: Christopher Columbus passage with questions.

  Social Studies: Students will continue our unit on Regions of the US. We will read about the Northeast Region land/climate/products.

    Students will take an open notes quiz on the information that we read.

   We will continue our review of reading skills taught this year. Today we will review nonfiction text features.

Students will view a powerpoint about nonfiction text features.

        Students will begin completing task cards in small groups about nonfiction text features.

Thursday 4/27: Morning Work: July 4, 1826 passage with questions.

We will continue to review the skill of nonfiction text features.

Students will go in small groups and complete nonfiction text features task cards.

Those students who need additional targeted practice with this standard will be pulled for small group instruction with Mrs. Richling.

Friday 4/28:  MOAS Field Trip

    NO Spelling or vocabulary test this week
