Monday 4/10: Morning Work: The Boy Who Never Lied passage with questions.
We will begin our review of reading skills taught this year. Today we will review summarizing nonfiction.
Students will go over their vocabulary words and complete the vocabulary define and draw.
Students will work on task cards in small groups and identify the best summary for each card (nonfiction).
Those students who need additional targeted practice with this standard will be pulled for small group instruction with Mrs. Richling.
We will continue our cursive packets.
Tuesday 4/11: Morning Work: Play Doh passage with questions.
We will continue our summarizing powerpoint from Monday.
Students will work on task cards for summarizing fiction text.

Social Studies: Students will continue our unit on Regions of the US. We will read about the Southeast Region products, natural resource, and
landmarks.
Students will take an open notes quiz on the information that we read.

Thursday 4/13: Morning Work: Slinky passage with questions.
We will review the skill of cause and effect by viewing a powerpoint.
Students will go in small groups and complete cause and effect center activities.

Friday 4/14: Morning Work: Vocabulary/Comprehension Assessment
We will review the skill of sequencing by viewing a powerpoint.
Students will go in small groups and complete sequencing center activities.
