Week 29: 3/27-3/31

Monday 3/27: Morning Work: Benjamin Learns to Grow Goobers passage with questions.

We will begin our compare and contrast informational text powerpoint (no notes).

Students will go over new vocabulary words and complete the define and draw.

Students will complete the paired passage "What to Pack for Camping"/"Camping at Yellowstone Park"

We will continue our cursive packets.

Tuesday 3/28: Morning Work: Ant Rafts passage with questions.

     We will continue our compare and contrast powerpoint about comparing & contrasting informational text.

Students will read the stories comparing/contrasting the history of technology.

We will continue our cursive packets.

Wednesday 3/22: Morning Work: Hair that Stings passage with questions.

   Social Studies: Students will begin our new unit on Regions of the US. We will read about the Southeast Region land and water.

    Students will take an open notes quiz on the information that we read.

We will continue our cursive packets.

Thursday 3/23: Morning Work: The Misnamed Centipede passage with questions.

We will continue our compare and contrast powerpoint about informational text.

Students will complete practice passages of comparing and contrasting informational text about Stress Management.

We will continue our cursive packets. 

Friday 3/24:  Morning Work: The Strongest Animal in the World passage with questions.

Students will take a vocabulary and compare/contrast formative assessment.

We will continue our cursive packets.
