Tuesday 2/21: Morning Work: There Was An Old Man Who Said Hush passage with questions.
Students will go over vocabulary words and complete the define and draw. Students will work on a reading mystery coloring picture with partners.
Wednesday 2/22: Morning Work: There Was A Young Lady Whose Chin passage with questions.
We will continue the text structure powerpoint and complete the companion on the text structures of compare and contrast and cause & effect. We will complete those pages in our flipbooks. We will finish up our Black History research projects/posters.
Thursday 2/23: Morning Work: The Crocodile passage with questions.
We will continue the text structure powerpoint for problem & solution and complete the companion. We will complete that page in our flipbooks.
Students will present their Influential Leaders from African American history posters for a grade.
Friday 2/24: Morning Work: You Are Old, Father William passage with questions.
Students will complete a vocabulary and text structure assessment.
Students will complete the "Why We Love Our Class" writings.
