We will continue the figurative language powerpoint and complete the companion as we discuss the types of figurative language.

Students will complete center rotations. They will complete the similes and metaphors worksheet in their center packets.

Wednesday 2/1: Morning Work: The Bald Eagle passage with questions.

Social Studies-Economics

Economics- We will read about trade in our economics text (pages 3-4) and take a quiz on the

information in the text (open notes).

Students will create a lapbook of economics as a collection of their learning as we go throughout this unit.

Grammar: We will complete a powerpoint and companion about verb tenses.

Thursday 2/2: Morning Work: Malala Yousafzai passage with questions.

We will continue the figurative language powerpoint and complete the companion as we discuss the types of figurative language.

Students will complete center rotations. They will complete the suffix -ful worksheet in their center packets.

Friday 2/3: Morning Work: Jackie Robinson passage with questions.

Students will complete a vocabulary test and assessment on figurative language.
