Demel Cafe - for Kaiserschmarrn
Cafe Museum - historic artists' café from 1899, located near the Opera, Karlsplatz, Secession, and Naschmarkt.
Cafe Hawelka - another Vienna oldtimer near Stephansdom, legendary artists' café, opened in 1939. Special for its bohemian time-capsule vibe. Must-try: Buchteln (warm apricot jam-filled yeast rolls with vanilla sauce) and in-house roasted coffee.
Cafe Sperl - again a nice oldtimer from 1880 near Naschmarkt. Serves hot meals in addition to pastries and desserts, also possible to play billiards (was featured in the 1995 movie Before Sunrise).
Zum Mogulhof for some Indian food and experience (close to Volt HQ).

Vollpension - very cozy Cafe with freshly made cakes by grandmas that earn some extra to their pension - you can even watch them baking. Not far from the Opera.
Disco Volante - good pizza out of a pizza oven that’s a giant disco ball!
Schnitzelwirt - located in the 7th District for reasonably priced decent Schnitzel huge portions!
Schweizerhaus - if you are enjoying the day at the Prater park.
