Professionalism - Required Duties (Met/Not Met)
Apprentice must take and pass required assessments for teacher licensure as defined by State Board of Education policy and specific area(s) of endorsement being sought by Apprentice Teacher
Apprentice must complete all aspects of the UTK Teacher Preparation program as approved by the Tennessee Department of Education
Ongoing expectations throughout the program.
Apprentice follows expectations for the use of the substitute request system as needed.
Apprentice follows expectations for the daily use of time-keeping software.
Apprentice attends and brings required materials to grade level collaboration and staff development.
Apprentice documents conversations with Mentor (outside of grade level collaborative planning) describing weekly responsibilities for roles within the classroom.
Apprentice will create one assessment per semester and collaborate with the Mentor to ensure standard alignment before sharing with the grade level team during common planning.
Apprentice will collaborate with mentor to determine instructional roles and follow mentor guidance to identify instructional roles through lessons and activities
