The Wilmington Arena Project is a community-driven initiative to build a multi-purpose arena in Wilmington, fostering unity through sports by housing semi-professional hockey and basketball teams and serving as a hub for local events and connection.
The Wilmington Arena Project was founded in 2024 with a vision to unite the Wilmington community through sports and shared experiences. Recognizing the city’s need for a central gathering space, the project set out to establish a multi-purpose arena that would not only house semi-professional hockey and basketball teams but also provide a venue for concerts, events, and community activities.
Wilmington is a diverse community, this project aims to bring us together.
