This course is designed to provide students with a background in United States Government and its function. Students will study the Constitution and the theories it contains. The three branches of government and the electoral process will be explored. Current events will be incorporated to promote student comprehension of the governmental process. This course may be taken Junior or Senior year.
The course will run in-person on the Villa campus. Attendance every day is expected and required.
Students enrolled in this summer course can expect to have required readings, assignments, quizzes, and tests. There will be due dates for all assignments and assessments.
The application for this course will open on Friday, February 13, 2026 and will be due by Friday, March 6. Students will be notified by Friday, March 13 as to their admission status for the course. Those admitted will then be directed to the payment site.
