In 2019, SCORE made a policy decision that all email communications related to SCORE volunteer work must be made using the branded scorevolunteer.org (SVO) email address. If you are an Active, Inactive, or Provisional member of SCORE, you have an email account, managed by Google using Gmail, that most often (but not always) is something like firstname.lastname@scorevolunter.org.
At SCORE, we use an online system to manage many aspects of our volunteer identity and communications with clients - a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System.
For many years, SCORE has used a CRM system called CORE, but as the organization grew and systems improved, SCORE has started a migration to a new system called Engage, which has been developed on the Salesforce platform.
Our Portland Chapter is still using CORE, and we are scheduled to migrate to Engage in the first quarter of 2021.
As of 2019 in the Portland chapter, we have two systems, each with its own account and password manager, and the two do not communicate with each other:
I do not usually recommend this, but I have made an exception for these two SCORE systems: I recommend that you set the same password for both CORE and your SVO Google account.
