Summer Food Program

Viroqua Area Schools participates in the free Summer Food Program. The program runs from June 10 – August 9. Breakfast is served from 7:30 – 8:00 daily, and lunch is served from 11:15 – 12:30 daily at Viroqua Elementary School 115 N. Education Ave., Viroqua, WI 54665. Anyone age 18 and under are eligible to receive meals at no cost through the program. Adult visitors that would like to join the children for the meal are invited for a charge of $1.50 for breakfast, and $3.00 for lunch, payable in the lunch line.

This website enables families to find out if they are eligible to receive benefits from various programs such as free or reduced price school meals, Emergency Food Assistance Program, WI Home Energy Assistance Program and much more. They can submit their information through this website, see if they might be eligible and if they are can apply online for several programs. It is a very easy user friendly website. Please feel free to share this with the families that might find this useful.

Lunch Fund for Kids

Families that have a positive lunch account balance and no children returning the next year have the option to donate that balance to the Lunch Fund for Kids. This fund helps families that may need assistance with their meals. Please call the Food Service Department, 608-637-1645, for more information.
