Have a look at the Graduation page for an end of year surprise!
Hi Everyone,
Well that's it! The end of the school year and the end of your last year in St Mary's. We would like to thank you all for the wonderful year we shared with you, even if it was cut short.
Take some time to look again at the fabulous work displayed, not just on our blog but on all of the St Mary's blogs. There are some great things to see! Plus, remember to watch our end of year video and sing along to our end of year song with Mr Collins.
Well done to everyone for staying focused and engaged during this strange and difficult time, now you can rest and relax before moving to Secondary School!
We plan on seeing you all soon for a proper Graduation and Confirmation Celebration but for now, slán libh agus go n-éirí an t-ádh libh.
Mrs Johnston and Mrs Gibbons

You have been given a once in a lifetime opportunity. You are hosting a dinner party for historic figures from the past. Think of all the interesting people you have learned about in school or at home. You can invite only 4 figures to the party whether they are dead or alive. Think carefully about you decision. Once you have decided plan the dinner party!
Design an invitation: What important information will you include on the invitation?
Design a menu: What food will you prepare for your guests? Remember some of your guests may be from a different era. Think carefully about each course. Will you prepare food that was popular in their time?
Design a seating arrangement: Where will you seat your guests? Who would be seated together? Which guests do you think would get on best?
Conversation topics: Write a list of topics you think would create an interesting conversation. Think of the different interests of your guests?
Questions: Prepare one question to ask each guest. This is a rare opportunity to have your question answered, so put a lot of thought into each question!
Some examples of people you could use are...
Mother Teresa Helen Keller Anne Frank President JFK
Nelson Mandela Martin Luther King Neil Armstrong
