I am currently an assistant professor in the Department of Management Science and Engineering at the Tongji University. Before joining Tongji I was a postdoctoral research associate in the Safe AI Laboratory at the Carnegie Mellon University. I received my Ph.D. degree in Industrial and Operations Engineering under the guidance of Prof. Henry Lam at the University of Michigan in 2020. My CV.

Research Interest

My research interests include stochastic modeling, Monte Carlo simulation, rare-event simulation and optimization under uncertainty. I am working on developing methodologies in data-driven rare-event simulation and optimization, and their applications in evaluating and designing intelligent systems (such as autonomous vehicles).
