Welcome to my personal webpage!

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economic Analysis at the Universitat de València (Spain), where I serve as a member of the Department's Permanent Board. I am also a research fellow at the Global Labor Organization (GLO) and serve as an Associate Editor of Applied Economic Analysis (formerly Revista de Economía Aplicada), the journal of the Spanish Asociación Libre de Economía (ALdE). 

From September to December 2026, I am a visiting researcher at Tohoku University in Sendai, Japan.

I am an applied microeconomist. My research centers on population and development economics, with secondary interests in regional economics and the economics of crime.

My research has been published in journals such as Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization, Journal of Economic Geography, and Journal of Comparative Economics.
