He is working as a visiting scholar at Purdue University, advised by Prof. Y. Charlie Hu. He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2025, advised by Prof. Haibing Guan (vice president of SJTU) and Prof. Jian Li. His general research interest is in cloud systems, mobile systems, and AI systems.
More recently, his research has focused on (1) building efficient, scalable, and manageable I/O virtualization systems for public cloud. (2) Building novel cloud systems for AI workloads, with a focus on serverless and in-network offloading. (3) Optimizing mobile systems for on-device LLM serving, with a focus on energy-efficiency.
Previously, he received his B.S. degree in Computer Science and Technology (IEEE honored class) also from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2019, advised by Prof. Haibing Guan.
