Grid Post Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 6, 2026
Grid Post is provided by ZP Labs. Grid Post is a free, ad-free Android app that helps you turn one photo into Instagram-ready grid tiles. This Privacy Policy explains what information Grid Post handles and how it is used.
1. Information Grid Post handles
Photos and camera images
Grid Post lets you choose an image using Android's system Photo Picker or take a photo using your device camera. The selected image is used only to crop and split it into Instagram grid tiles.
Photo processing is performed on your device. Grid Post does not upload your photos to ZP Labs, store them on a ZP Labs server, or access your entire photo library. Grid Post does not request broad READ_MEDIA_IMAGES or READ_MEDIA_VIDEO access.
When you choose to save the result, Grid Post saves the generated tiles to your device's Pictures/GridPosts folder. You can delete those files from your device or gallery application. Grid Post may also keep local recent-creation metadata so it can show your recent work inside the app.
Device and app information
Grid Post may process basic technical information required by Android and Google Play services to provide app updates and in-app review features. Grid Post does not receive your Google account password, payment information, contacts, precise location, or advertising identifier through these features.
Grid Post does not require an account and does not intentionally collect your name, email address, contacts, messages, social-network information, or other personal profile information.
2. Advertising, analytics, and payments
Grid Post is fully free and does not display advertisements. It does not use advertising networks, interest-based advertising, or ad-related tracking. Grid Post does not currently use third-party analytics or crash-reporting services, and it does not offer in-app purchases or subscriptions.
3. Sharing and external services
Grid Post does not sell, rent, or upload your personal information or photos.
If you choose to share your generated tiles, Android's sharing system and the app you select, such as Instagram, will handle that sharing. The privacy practices of those third-party apps and services are governed by their own privacy policies.
Grid Post may use Google Play services for app updates and in-app review features. Google may process technical information under Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Grid Post may disclose information when required by applicable law, court order, or lawful government request, or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, and security of ZP Labs, Grid Post users, or others.
4. Data retention and deletion
Grid Post is designed to process photos locally and does not maintain a remote account or photo-storage service. Local photos, generated tiles, temporary files, preferences, and recent-creation metadata remain on your device until you delete them, clear the app's storage, or uninstall Grid Post.
If you contact us, we will use the information you provide only to respond to your request and will retain it only as reasonably necessary for that purpose or to meet legal obligations.
5. Security
Grid Post is designed to keep photo processing on your device and uses Android's standard storage and sharing mechanisms. No method of storage, processing, or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Children's privacy
Grid Post is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required in your country. Grid Post does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
7. Your choices and privacy requests
You can choose whether to select a photo, use the camera, save generated tiles, or share them. You can remove locally stored app data using Android settings, delete exported tiles from your gallery, or uninstall the app.
If you have a privacy question or believe Grid Post may have received personal information about you, contact us at zplabs.app@gmail.com. We will review and respond to your request as required by applicable law.
8. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when Grid Post's features or data practices change. The latest version will be available inside Grid Post and on the public privacy-policy page linked from Google Play. The effective date at the top of this policy shows when it was last updated.
