8/23/2025: Dr. El Fikky has just accepted a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR), Donaghey College of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics

8/20/2025: Dr. Xinyi Wu accepted a faculty position offer from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. She will begin her duties on September 2025. Congratulations to Xinyi!!! 

7/8/2025: I am happy to share that Archana is participating in the Global Industry Challenge 2025 and has reached Phase 3 of the Wells Fargo Challenge, which focuses on modeling quantum-inspired conditional evolution for complex financial systems.

 7/2/2025: I am happy to share that Archana is participating in the Womanium & WISER Quantum Program 2025.

6/4/2025: I am happy to share that Dr. Xinyi Wu has defended successfully her PhD on June 12, 2025. Congratulation Xinyi!

1/28/205: I am happy to share that  Archana Singh  will participate in MITs quantum hackathon remotely: iQuHack 2025.

12/13/2024: I am happy to share that Dr. Abdelrahman ELFikky has finished his PhD effective December 13, 2024.

5/30/2024: I am happy to share that I have been promoted to Associate Professor effective July 2024.

5/3/2024: Congratulations Abdelrahman ElFikky for winning the prestigious 2023-2024 Excellence in Teaching Award. He is one of the 8 winners among 370 students nominations.  

12/6/2023:  Congratulations to Abdelrahman ElFikky! The Teaching & Learning Center (TLC) has selected him as an Electrical and Computer Engineering department representative to participate and receive the award in the 2024 cohort of the Graduate Pedagogy Fellows (GPF).
