Voice Changeris a voice modification application designed with a strong commitment to user privacy.
Voice Changeris designed with a strong commitment to user privacy. While audio processing is performed locally on the user’s device, we collect certain non-personally identifiable information to improve app performance and user experience through third-party analytics services.
All audio processing is performed locally on the user’s device.
Voice Changer does not intentionally collect personal information from users.
Specifically, the application does not collect or store personally identifiable information such as:
Names
Email addresses (unless provided for support)
Phone numbers
Precise Location data
Voice recordings
We do, however, collect certain non-personally identifiable technical data (such as Advertising IDs and app usage statistics) via third-party services for A/B testing and analytics.
All audio recordings created within the app:
Remain stored locally on the user’s device
Are processed entirely offline
Are never transmitted to external servers
Are not accessible to the developer
Voice Changer integrates:
Analytics and A/B Testing Services: To improve user experience and test new features.
No Advertising SDKs: The app remains ad-free.
Voice Changer requests only the minimum permissions required for core functionality:
Used to capture audio input so voice effects can be applied.
All processing occurs locally on the device.
Loading publicly available documents (e.g., Privacy Policy)
Basic network connectivity
No personal data or audio content is transmitted.
A standard Android system permission used internally for app functionality.
It does not involve personal data processing.
Advertising ID & Ad Services Permissions (AD_ID, ACCESS_ADSERVICES_AD_ID, etc.):
Used by Firebase Analytics to distinguish unique users for A/B testing and to understand user engagement metrics. This does not involve personal identity tracking.
WAKE_LOCK: Used to ensure smooth audio processing and prevent interruptions during voice modification.
BIND_GET_INSTALL_REFERRER_SERVICE: Used to understand which source the app was installed from, helping us measure the effectiveness of our distributions.
Notification Access (POST_NOTIFICATIONS)
System Transparency: Used to provide persistent indicators whenever the app is performing audio recording or playback in the background, ensuring users are always informed of active app processes.
User Engagement: Periodically sends reminders to encourage users to explore and utilize the voice modification features. These reminders aim to help users get the most out of the application's capabilities.
User Control: Users can opt-out of these notifications at any time through the application settings or system-level notification management.
Foreground Service (FOREGROUND_SERVICE) & Specialized Types To ensure a seamless user experience and prevent the Android system from interrupting active tasks, we use foreground services for the following purposes:
Microphone (FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MICROPHONE): Used to maintain audio recording and voice modification when the user switches to other apps or turns off the screen.
Media Playback (FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK): Used to ensure continuous and stable playback of processed audio in the background.
Data Sync (FOREGROUND_SERVICE_DATA_SYNC): Used to ensure that local voice modification tasks (such as applying effects or saving edited files) are completed correctly in the background, preventing data loss if the user minimizes the app.
The app does not access sensitive permissions such as:
Location
Contacts
Camera
Storage: The app accesses only its own internal application directory to save and manage audio files you create. It does not access your personal photos, documents, or files stored in other folders.
Third-Party Services ：Voice Changer uses Google Firebase (Google Analytics & Firebase Remote Config) to collect technical and usage data. This helps us perform A/B testing and analyze app performance. These third parties process data (such as IP addresses and Advertising IDs) according to their own privacy policies: Google Privacy Policy.
The app may load static resources (such as icons or images) from public CDNs.
During standard network operations, limited technical data (such as IP address) may be processed by CDN providers.
This information:
Is not collected or stored by the developer
Is used only for content delivery
Voice Changer does not transmit user-generated audio or personal data to external servers.
All data generated by the app (such as audio recordings):
Is stored locally on the user's device
Remains fully under user control
Can be deleted at any time
The developer does not maintain any external database of user information.
Voice Changer retains non-personally identifiable analytical data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes of app optimization and A/B testing via Firebase. We do not retain user-generated audio or personally identifiable information.
Audio recordings created within the app are stored locally on the user's device and remain under the user’s control until they are manually deleted.
If a user contacts the developer via email, any personal information provided (such as email address or message content) will be retained only for the purpose of responding to the request.
Such information will be deleted within a reasonable period after the request has been resolved, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
Voice Changer processes non-personally identifiable technical data (such as Device IDs and usage logs) for the legitimate interest of improving our service. Any personal data provided via email support is processed based on your consent.
If users voluntarily provide personal information (such as email address or message content) when contacting the developer for support, such data is processed based on the user's consent.
This processing is limited to responding to user inquiries and providing support.
No other legal bases for processing personal data apply, as no personal data is collected or processed in any other context.

We do not sell your data. We only share non-personally identifiable information with Google Firebase to facilitate app analytics and feature optimization (A/B testing).
Under applicable privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), users have the right to opt out of:
Targeted advertising;
The sale of personal data;
Profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
How Voice Changer Complies and How You Can Opt Out:
No Sale or Profiling: Voice Changer does not sell your personal data to third parties and does not engage in profiling for automated decision-making that has legal or significant consequences.
Targeted Advertising & Analytics: While Voice Changer does not show targeted ads, we use Google Firebase for app performance analytics and A/B testing. You can exercise your right to opt out of tracking by:
Device Settings: On your Android device, go to Settings > Google > Ads and enable “Opt out of Ads Personalization” or “Reset Advertising ID.”
Direct Request: You may submit a formal opt-out request by emailing us at [liulin.he.hll@gmail.com] with the subject line "Privacy Request – Opt-Out." We will process your request within the timeframes required by the VCDPA (usually 45 days) and provide a mechanism to appeal our decision if your request is declined.
