Hello,

i am developing a website where users of the site can take online class, and another set of users can participate (view only).

i have paid plan in zoom, webinar enabled.

my site is in php, Laravel. using JWT token for api calls.

so far i have successfully created webinar through api. now the webinar has my zoom account as host.

After registering for a program you will receive two emails: The first is an immediate automatic confirmation of your purchase from CustomerService@SmithsonianAssociates.org. You will then receive a second email from no-reply@zoom.us closer to the program date with a link to your online program.

If you register multiple individuals, you will be asked to supply individual names and email addresses at the time of registration so they can receive their own Zoom link email as well. Please note that if there is a change in program schedule or a cancellation, we will notify you via email, and it will be your responsibility to notify other registrants in your group.

To cancel an online program registration, follow the cancellation process outlined in Smithsonian Associates Cancellation and Refund Policy. You cannot cancel a program registration via the Zoom application. You must contact us directly at Smithsonian Associates.

Smithsonian Associates online programs are streamed live. To view a program, click or tap the Zoom link sent to you via email ("Click Here to Join"), or click the "Join" button for the program on your personal program page. It will automatically open a web page window asking you to launch the Zoom application. Click or tap "Open Zoom Meetings." If you are on a desktop computer, then once the meeting is open in Zoom, for the best experience maximize your Zoom window by clicking "Enter Full Screen" in the top right corner. Make sure your speakers are turned on and adjust your volume level as needed.

If you are a current Smithsonian Associates member, have logged in, and still see only a zero in the Member rate tickets drop-down menu, you might be logging in with a duplicate account that is not associated to your membership record, or you may have already purchased the maximum number of membership tickets allowed by your membership level.

Most classes do not have materials included. Please refer to the full course write-up in the Associate course program guide or online to determine whether a student supply list is available to download from our website. There are some instances in which the instructor provides supplies in the form of a kit to be ordered from them directly, or where supplies are discussed at the first class meeting. Information on supplies is contained in each course description.

All online classes are held in the Zoom meeting format. You will receive a link in a confirmation email after you register for the class, in a welcome email from associates-studioarts.si.edu one week prior to the class start date, and again 30min before the first class begins. Zoom links are not sent out each week so please be sure to hold onto your welcome email for the duration of your multi-session class.

Most in-person classes are held on the National Mall in the S. Dillon Ripley Center classrooms, while some classes are held at other locations. Check your tickets and/or the Associate class description for this information.

The majority of Studio Arts classes are recorded and made available to registered students via a password protected drop box folder link. The recordings are not downloadable. Recordings are uploaded within 24-48hrs of a class session, all recordings for a course are in the same drop box folder and are available until one week after the final course meeting. The drop box folder link for the recording/s and the password are sent in a welcome email from associates-studioarts.si.edu one week prior to the first class meeting. The link will not be emailed out week-to-week, so please hold onto your welcome email for the duration of your multi-week class. The class description on our website will specifically state if a class is not being recorded.

Attending another class session of a course section (e.g. Beginning Drawing, online or in person) won't be possible. Classes are specifically structured and they often run at full capacity and at different paces. This makes it impossible to accommodate visitors from other classes. We recommend that you check your schedule carefully before committing to a multiple-session class, to ensure that you are free and able to get the most from your educational experience. If you must miss a class due to your schedule, and have still chosen to enroll, we recommend speaking to your instructor prior to the class session you will miss to see if there is an assignment or supplemental reading that can be done to keep you on schedule. Your instructor will be your best guide in this situation.

Online classes are taught in Canvas with no required in-person meetings. Most online classes are asynchronous, but some online classes have required online meetings, and those meeting day(s) and time(s) are noted in the schedule.

We want to welcome all of you who are interested in taking an online class from Los Angeles Valley College. This section has been created to give you assistance in successfully completing an online class.

This is a very important question you should ask yourself. An online class requires slightly different skills and personal study techniques than a traditional face-to-face class. An easy way to determine the answer to this question is to take a Technical Skills Quiz and a Student Skills Quiz. You should also review our Online Student Readiness Tutorials.

To see what classes are being offered, look at the Schedule of Online Classes. Some instructors have provided Letters of Introduction to the class. These letters will give you a preview to your class. If you still have questions, you may email the instructor. For even more information, you can go to the "Instructor Web Pages."

Once you decide on a class to take, you must register for that class. If you have not previously enrolled at LAVC, you will be required to apply to LAVC first. The registration process is rather straightforward. You will need the Section number for the class that you plan to register for. The Section number is listed in the Schedule of Online Classes along with the other class information.

After you have registered for your class, you will need to login to the Canvas system for all your course work, course questions, course documents, and assignments. You will not be able to login to your class until the class has started. Login to your class via the "Canvas" login link found at the top when you click on "Login".

Do you want to take a course, but you can't make it to campus at the scheduled time? The Distance Education Center at CVCC provides students with access to online courses and educational resources. You may take courses from anywhere with online access in a variety of formats.

Online Courses: You can access your courses from anywhere with an Internet connection. Work on your courses on your schedule. Coursework will have regular assigned due dates, but you can access your materials any time of the day.

"Live" Online Courses: You will attend your courses online in real time, using Zoom, from anywhere in the world. Students may access the course from an off-site center. You will see and hear your instructor and course materials, and you can even interact with other students in real time. These courses have regular meeting times.

Hybrid Courses: Students experience live instruction with less face-to-face meetings blended with online coursework. Meeting times and requirements will vary, so be sure to contact your instructor.

CVCC offers shared distance learning courses through Northern Virginia Community College's Extended Learning Institution. Students have the opportunity to take unique online courses and can also choose classes that meet their CVCC requirements.

It is important to know how to attach and copy files. In some classes, it may be necessary to download and intall software. All students have access to the Learner Orientation located in Moodle for technical skills related to the learning management system.

Students must log in by the first day of the term and show activity by the first Wednesday, or they may be dropped by the instructor as a no-show. Please note that not participating does not guarantee the student will be dropped. Students are responsible for dropping a course. Not doing so by the add/drop date may affect financial aid, transcripts, and other aspects of the student's college record.

Hybrid courses combine traditional, face-to-face teaching with a varying degree of online learning activities. Hybrid classes at CGCC take advantage of the best features of both online and face-to-face teaching. By integrating online and face-to-face learning CGCC faculty complement, reinforce and expand on the student experience by allowing for a portion of the course to be online, and completed in a self paced manner by the students while still benefiting from an in-classroom experience. 152ee80cbc
