The Diploma of Science (Zoology)- Microanalysis and Laboratory Investigation program seeks to provide postgraduate students with comprehensive and advanced knowledge in the medical laboratory field. In addition, it educates them on the ethical and moral principles in healthcare, while enhancing their ability to contribute to the development of scientific and applied research, qualifying them to serve and advance society.

يسعى برنامج دبلومة التقنيات الدقيقة و الفحص المعملي إلى تزويد طلاب الدراسات العليا بالمعرفة الشاملة و المتقدمة  في مجال المختبرات الطبية، بالإضافة لتعلم المبادئ الأخلاقية والمعنوية في مجال الرعاية الصحية، وتعزيز قدرتهم على المساهمة في تطوير الأبحاث العلمية والتطبيقية، بما يؤهلهم لخدمة المجتمع والارتقاء به.

أهداف البرنامج

1- Provide students with an in-depth understanding of specialized areas of Microanalysis and Laboratory Investigation and their applications.

2- Provide a dynamic and flexible environment for graduates interested in pursuing careers in Microanalysis and Laboratory Investigation research, as an academic teaching, pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries or medicine and health care.

3- Demonstrate high standards of professional conducts and aptitude for continuous professional development in research problems.

4- Enable researchers to self- and long life learning using Information Technology (IT).

5-    Provide an appropriate background covering the immune system, its protective functions against the infection. In addition its role in the patho-physiology of infectious and non-infectious diseases.

6-     Identify the common infections and diseases of medical importance: etiology, mode of transmission, virulence factors, laboratory diagnosis, treatment, prevention and control of such diseases.

7- familiarize students with the basic disease patterns and their underlying mechanisms within the specific organ systems as a step to prepare the students for their clinical rounds and future as a practitioner.
