Zoology program seeks to prepare qualified scientific personnel to apply and develop modern biotechnological and capable to compete in the labor market, deal with environmental variables and solve social problems within an ethical and professional framework.

يسعي برنامج علم الحيوان إلي إعداد كوادر علمية مؤهلة لتطبيق و تطوير أساليب التقنيات البيولوجية  الحديثة و قادرة علي المنافسة في سوق العمل و علي التعامل مع المتغيرات البيئية و حل المشكلات المجتمعية في إطار أخلاقي و مهني.

أهداف البرنامج

1.Provide students with specialized subjects related to zoology

1. Produce Bachelors with concepts and laboratory skills in zoology with their relations to latest bio-techniques.

2. Provide training knowledge in zoology to meet market needs in the fields of health, sanitation, environmental monitoring and pollution.

3. Extend the student's knowledge and practical training concerning epidemiological aspects causing diseases.

4. Develop student's skills in writing researches and reports in good English language.

5. Prepare the student with in depth physical and chemical understanding of matters.

6. Allow students to develop practical, evaluative and self-learning skills, leadership and decision-making.

7. Provide training and practice in scientific data analysis using IT technology relevant to the field study.

8. Possess broad ethical principles to show commitment to ethical practice and social responsibility.

مواصفات الخريج

1-      Demonstrate wide integrated knowledge related to different branches of zoology.

2-      Develop knowledge and experience of working with contemporary laboratory techniques relevant to different disciplines in zoology

3-      Plan and conduct experimental work using appropriate instruments, review and safety regulations, quality control processes, asses ana manage risks, report on practice and critically evaluate the outcomes

4-      Apply concepts and theories of zoology to interpret life’s basic processes  from cell to organisms to ecosystems.

5-      Employ theories and concepts in mathematics, physics, chemistry and statistics to interpret the underlying mechanisms of essential processes in zoology abided by the legislation and ethics related to the environment preservation and human health and welfare.
