Dr. Zohaib Latif is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the School of Engineering and Digital Sciences, Nazarbayev University, Kazakhstan. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Beijing Institute of Technology, China, an M.Sc. in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from the University of Glasgow, United Kingdom, and a B.Sc. in Electronics from the University of Faisalabad, Pakistan. His research interests include Software-Defined Networking (SDN), Internet of Things (IoT), Multi-access Edge Computing, Blockchain, and Machine/Deep Learning for intelligent and secure distributed systems. Dr. Latif leads the SDN-EC Lab, focusing on task offloading, IoT orchestration, and AI-driven resource management. He has published extensively in top-tier journals, including the IEEE Internet of Things Journal, Journal of Network and Computer Applications, IEEE Transactions on Network and Service Management, and IEEE Sensors Journal.
