Welcome to my homepage! I am currently an Assistant Professor of Economics at Jinhe Center for Economic Research, Xi'an Jiaotong University in China. I obtained my PhD in Economics from Georgia State University in May 2024.
My research areas include environmental economics, public economics, and applied microeconomics. My dissertation focuses on investigating the causes and consequences of air pollution in the developing world, with a particular emphasis on China. Using economic reasoning and various econometric models, my dissertation investigates strategic behavior undertaken by agents in an economy where high pollution levels are a great concern.
My ongoing research projects intend to combine novel datasets, state-of-art data-processing tools, economic theory, and econometric methods to answer policy-relevant questions in environmental and public economics. You can find my CV here.
