Kang Zhou

I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at the School of Economics, Zhejiang University.  

I received my Ph.D. in Economics from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2021. I am broadly interested in development and labor economics, with a focus on population mobility, human capital, fertility, and technological change. My research examines how institutions and public policies shape the allocation of people and resources, economic opportunities, and long-run development.
