I am an Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with joint appointments in the School of Data Science and Society (SDSS) and the Department of Mathematics. Before that, I was a Marshall H. Stone Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. I obtained my Ph.D. in Mathematics at Duke University in 2021, advised by Ingrid Daubechies and Hau-Tieng Wu. 

My current research interests include the mathematical foundations of machine learning, applied probability, applied harmonic analysis, time-frequency analysis, and their applications.
