Privacy Policy for SecondSocial: Virtual SMSÂ
Last updated: September 11, 2026
SecondSocial: Virtual SMS ("we," "us," or "our") operates the SecondSocial mobile application for iOS and related online services (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use the Service on Apple iOS devices.
By creating an account or using SecondSocial, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to provide, secure, and maintain the Service.
1.1 Information You Provide
Account Information: When you create an account or sign in, we collect your email address and authentication credentials. Your credentials are encrypted; we never store plain-text passwords.
Payment-Related Information: In-app coin package purchases are processed directly by Apple via StoreKit / Apple In-App Purchase. We do not collect, process, or store your credit card or financial account numbers. We receive only transaction identifiers, receipt tokens, and purchase confirmations from Apple required to validate transactions and credit coins to your in-app wallet balance.
Customer Support: When you contact support, we collect your email address, message details, and any screenshots or crash diagnostics you choose to share.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
Device and App Information: iOS device model, operating system version (iOS), app version/build, system language settings, and core technical metadata required to operate the Service.
Usage and Transaction Information: Virtual phone numbers rented, countries and services selected, order status, rental durations, coin balance adjustments, coin package transaction records, and associated activity timestamps.
SMS Verification Messages: When you rent a virtual number, incoming SMS messages—including one-time passwords (OTPs), verification codes, and message bodies—are received by our systems and displayed in your account inbox so you can complete third-party verifications.
Log and Security Information: IP addresses, network connection status, access timestamps, and diagnostic or security logs utilized for rate limiting, abuse detection, and API protection.
Push Notification Tokens: If you grant notification permissions via iOS system prompts, we collect an Apple Push Notification service (APNs) device token to deliver transactional order updates.
1.3 Information Stored on Your iOS Device The iOS application stores certain session tokens and preferences locally using standard iOS storage mechanisms and the iOS Keychain (such as encrypted user authentication tokens, language preferences, and cached order records for offline UI responsiveness).
1.4 Information from Third Parties
Apple: In-app purchase verification, receipt data, and transaction confirmations.
Virtual Number and SMS Partners: Third-party telecommunication partners provide the virtual numbers and route incoming verification SMS messages to our backend servers.
2. How We Use Your Information
Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the iOS application.
Authenticate user logins and manage user profiles.
Process coin purchases made through Apple In-App Purchase and credit your wallet.
Provision temporary virtual numbers and deliver incoming SMS verification codes in real time.
Dispatch transactional push notifications (e.g., arrival of an SMS verification code, pending order expiration).
Display your rental history, received messages, coin balance, and purchase records.
Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and violations of our terms.
Provide user support and address customer inquiries.
Fulfill legal, tax, and accounting compliance obligations.
We do not use your information to serve third-party advertisements, and we do not track you across third-party apps or websites for targeted advertising.
3. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only under the following limited conditions:
Service Providers: Third parties that provide underlying infrastructure, including database hosting (such as Vercel and cloud server providers), notification routing via APNs, and SMS fulfillment/telecom partners. These partners are granted access only to perform necessary service tasks on our behalf.
Legal and Safety Compliance: When mandatory under applicable law, subpoenas, official requests, or where disclosure is essential to investigate fraud, protect security, or defend user rights.
Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, reorganization, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to customary non-disclosure and privacy safeguards.
With Your Explicit Consent: When you explicitly direct us to share information.
4. Third-Party Services
The iOS application relies on third-party services that maintain independent privacy practices:
Apple StoreKit / In-App Purchase: Processes payments for coin packages.
Apple Push Notification service (APNs): Delivers transactional push notifications to your iOS device.
Cloud & Backend Hosting: Hosts APIs, authentication routines, and database infrastructure.
Telecommunications Providers: Routes temporary virtual numbers and delivers SMS payloads.
5. Data Retention
Account Information: Maintained while your account remains active.
Orders and SMS Content: Stored during and for a reasonable period following the rental duration to display your order log, show received verification codes, and assist with dispute resolution.
Transaction Records: Apple transaction receipt tokens and wallet balance audit histories are retained to satisfy financial reporting, tax compliance, and fraud prevention obligations.
Security Logs: Retained temporarily to prevent abuse and protect system integrity.
When you delete your account, we delete or irreversibly anonymize your personal data, except where statutory retention laws require us to preserve financial or dispute records.
6. Data Security
All network traffic between the iOS application and our servers is secured using HTTPS/TLS encryption.
Sensitive authentication tokens are stored securely on your device using iOS Keychain Services.
Access to production databases and backend systems is governed by strict authentication and access restrictions.
7. Your Rights and Account Deletion (Apple Requirement)
In accordance with Apple App Store Review Guidelines and applicable privacy laws, you maintain the following rights:
In-App Account Deletion: You can delete your account directly inside the iOS app by going to the Profile section and selecting Delete Account. Initiating this permanently deletes your user profile, authentication credentials, and stored verification messages.
Support Deletion Requests: You may also request account deletion or data removal by emailing us at zraccess7@gmail.com.
Access and Correction: You can review your profile and transaction history in the app or contact us to correct inaccurate records.
Important Considerations:
Active virtual number orders should be completed or allowed to expire before initiating account deletion.
Unused coins remaining in your wallet balance are forfeited upon account deletion and cannot be refunded.
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
8. Push Notifications
Push notifications are sent only if you grant permission through the iOS prompt.
Notifications are strictly transactional (e.g., alerting you when a verification SMS arrives or an order is about to expire). We do not send marketing or promotional notifications.
You can adjust or turn off notifications at any time via your device settings at Settings > SecondSocial > Notifications.
9. Children's Privacy
SecondSocial is not directed toward children under the age of 13 (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you discover that a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at zraccess7@gmail.com, and we will delete the data immediately.
10. International Data Transfers
Your personal data may be transferred to, stored, and processed in servers located outside your country of residence. We implement appropriate technical, contractual, and organizational protections to ensure your information remains safeguarded in compliance with international privacy laws.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to accommodate app updates, changes to iOS guidelines, or statutory requirements. When revisions occur, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy. Continued use of the iOS app after modifications indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
