I will receive my PhD in Philosophy from the University of Oklahoma in Spring 2019. I also hold a B.A. in Philosophy from Wuhan University.
I work primarily in Philosophy of Social Science, Decision & Game Theory, defending a normative interpretation of decision theory that captures the essence of instrumental rationality.
I am interested in how such a normative understanding of decision theory explains its failure as an empirical, social scientific theory, especially in various applied ethical issues in business, health care, and computer technology.
My teaching interests also include Logic, Philosophy of Science, History of Ancient Western Philosophy, and Ethics.
