I do integration by parts for a living. Nicolas Burq and Thomas Alazard taught me microlocal analysis, dispersive partial differential equations, the true definition of a mathematician, and how to get a Ph.D. degree.

Currently, I am an assistant professor at RIMS, Kyoto University, working at the interface of harmonic and microlocal analysis, control theory, scattering theory, wave turbulence theory, and the fine craft of breadmaking.

At the heart of my research is a fascination with how waves disperse, propagate, and interact, and with how the mathematical descriptions we develop can predict wave behaviors across different space-time regimes.
