I'm Zhiren Hu, a third-year Ph.D. student in Applied Economics at Cornell University. I'm affiliated to Stanford Economics for Sustainability and Energy Transition Lab and Cornell Institute for China Economic Research. My research agenda focuses on two topics: (1) economics of ecosystem services; (2) energy transition.

I will visit Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability in 2026-2028 academic years.
