I am a Professor and Vice Dean of the Institute of Statistics and Big Data (ISBD) at Renmin University of China (中国人民大学) in Beijing.
I received my Ph.D. in Statistics in 2015 from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, under the supervision of Professor Phillip Yam. Prior to that, I obtained my B.Sc. in Mathematics from Southeast University in 2011. I joined Renmin University of China as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in 2016, was promoted to Associate Professor with tenure in 2022, and to Professor in 2026.
My research focuses on causal inference with complex data structures, including identification of causal effects, semiparametric and nonparametric statistical theory, and the development of robust, data-driven inference methods, with applications in economics and machine learning.
