I am an associate professor at the Institute of Statistics and Big Data, Renmin University of China (中国人民大学), Beijing. I earned a Ph.D. in 2015 under Phillip Yam's supervision from the Department of Statistics, Chinese University of Hong Kong. Prior to that, I obtained a BSc from Department of Mathematics, Southeast University in 2011. I was a tenure-track assistant professor since September 2016, and was promoted to a tenured associate professor in August 2022.
My research mainly focus on causal inference and its applications in economics and machine learning. I am interested in the identification of causal effects from complex data, studying the semi/non-parametric theory, developing robust and data-driven methods for statistical inference.
