Zhe Wang

I am a Teaching Fellow in Economics at the University of Surrey.

My research focuses on macroeconomics and labor economics, particularly covering the role of monetary policy, the determinants of unemployment and labor market institutions. I also have a growing interest in gender inequality issues related to policy.

I obtained my PhD in Economics from the University of Reading in July 2021. Prior to my PhD, I received my MSc in Economics and Finance at Durham University, and a B.A. in Public Economics at Sichuan University.
