Zhan Wang's Homepage

Welcome to my homepage!

I'm Zhan Wang (汪湛). I'm currently a graduate student advised by Prof. Long Zhang and Prof. Fuchun Zhang at Kavli Institute for Theoretical Sciences (KITS).

I'm working in the field of strongly correlated materials using theoretical and numerical approaches. My research topics include:

  • Impurity problems in frustrated magnetic systems.

  • Entanglement Entropy at quantum critical point.

  • t-J model on the effective brick-wall lattice for the recently discovered high-temperature superconductor Ba2CuO3+δ. arXiv: 1912.12581.

  • Quantum Spin Hall Insulator (HgTe/CdTe) under perpendicular magnetic field.

  • K-t-J model for infinite-layer nickelate superconductor, solved by Renormalized Mean Field Theory. arXiv: 2006.15928.
