Zerui Wu 吴泽锐

Welcome! I am currently a Research Fellow at the Institute of Operations Research and Analytics (IORA), National University of Singapore.

Previously, I obtained my PhD degree in Shanghai Jiao Tong University (上海交通大学), advised by Professors Ershun Pan (潘尔顺) and Ran Liu (刘冉).

I was a visiting scholar at University of Miami, where I am lucky to work with Professor Xu Sun.


My major is Industrial Engineering, and I hold a second bachelor's degree in Mathematics.

Research Interests

  • Stochastic models, with applications in healthcare and manufacturing

  • Optimization algorithms that are computationally light-weight and easy-to-implement

  • Managerial methods that are insightful with strong performance guarantees

I am happy to discuss opportunities at the intersection of engineering, management and artificial intelligence.
