The Problem with Cement
8% of Global CO2 Emissions
The global CO2 emissions from the manufacture of cement was 1.7 million metric tons in 2021. The industry accounts for 8% of the global CO2 emissions, the same as cars, or if it were considered as a country, it would have the third largest CO2 emissions after the USA and China.
Our Mission
At Zenyth Innovations, our goal is to provide sustainable solutions to the cement industry. We strive to reduce the carbon footprint of cement production by developing a revolutionary cement additive that can decrease the amount of Portland cement in a cement mixture by 20%. By doing so, we aim to make cement more durable and affordable, while simultaneously decreasing its environmental impact. Our ultimate goal is to promote sustainability in the construction industry and contribute to a greener future for generations to come.
Build with Strength and Sustainability
Sustainable
Using our cement additive will allow manufacturers to replace 20% of the regular Portland cement with our sustainable additive.
Durable
Using less cement in concrete has been shown to increase long-time performance and enhance durability.
Affordable
And the best part? Our sustainable cement additive will allow you to reduce your cement costs by 15%.
Build sustainably with us!
Who are we?
We are a team of passionate university students from the Vienna University of Economics and Business and the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna. Our idea for sustainable cement additive was born out of a university course that challenged us to build a startup from the ground up. With our diverse backgrounds and expertise, we are committed to creating a sustainable and affordable cement solution that benefits both the construction industry and the environment.
