ZenSound is developed and published by IP Core Studio.
This Privacy Policy explains how ZenSound handles information when you use the application.
ZenSound is designed as a privacy-focused, local-first application. Most information created through the app is stored locally on your device and is not uploaded to servers operated by IP Core Studio.
For privacy-related questions, you can contact:
IP Core Studio
Email: ipcore.studio@gmail.com
ZenSound stores user-created application data locally on your device.
This may include:
alarms;
bedtime routines;
favorite sounds;
custom sound mixes;
timer and application preferences;
Calendar and session history;
mood or sleep ratings;
session notes;
rewarded-access status;
Premium and offline verification information;
other settings required for the app to function.
This information is primarily stored using local application storage such as SharedPreferences.
IP Core Studio does not operate a cloud service that receives or stores this user-created content.
ZenSound currently does not provide account-based cloud synchronization.
ZenSound includes third-party services that may process limited technical, usage, advertising, diagnostic, or purchase-related information.
These services are used to provide analytics, crash reporting, advertising, and Premium purchase functionality.
ZenSound currently uses:
Firebase Analytics;
Firebase Crashlytics;
Google Mobile Ads;
RevenueCat.
IP Core Studio does not use these services to directly collect your name, personal email address, contacts, photographs, microphone recordings, precise location, or health records.
ZenSound uses Firebase Analytics to understand how the application is used and to improve its functionality.
Analytics events may include information such as:
when a sound is started;
when a timer is started;
when an alarm or routine is created;
interactions with application features;
app version;
device platform;
technical application and device information.
Firebase may use anonymous or pseudonymous identifiers to distinguish app installations and usage sessions.
ZenSound does not intentionally send user-created notes, alarm names, custom mix names, or other locally stored personal content to Firebase Analytics.
ZenSound uses Firebase Crashlytics to identify crashes and technical problems.
Crashlytics may process information such as:
crash reports;
stack traces;
technical diagnostics;
app version;
device and operating system information;
application installation identifiers.
This information is used to diagnose errors, improve stability, and maintain the application.
The free version of ZenSound may display advertisements through Google Mobile Ads.
Google Mobile Ads may automatically process information such as:
IP address;
device and advertising identifiers;
interactions with advertisements and the application;
diagnostic and performance information;
general device information.
This information may be used for purposes including:
displaying advertisements;
measuring advertising performance;
analytics;
fraud prevention and security.
Whether advertising is personalized may depend on your location, consent choices, Google settings, device settings, and applicable law.
Premium users may receive an ad-free experience according to the Premium plan available in the application.
ZenSound uses RevenueCat to manage Premium purchases, subscriptions, entitlements, and purchase restoration.
RevenueCat may process information including:
purchase history;
product identifiers;
subscription status;
entitlement status;
anonymous application or device identifiers;
information required to verify and restore purchases.
ZenSound does not receive or store your payment card details.
Payments are processed through the applicable app store, such as Google Play.
RevenueCat is used to determine whether Premium functionality should be available to the user.
ZenSound does not currently require or provide a user account system.
You are not required to provide IP Core Studio with your:
name;
personal email address;
password;
profile information.
Because ZenSound does not operate user accounts, there is currently no account profile stored on IP Core Studio servers.
ZenSound may request Android permissions required for specific features.
Depending on your Android version and the features you use, these may include permissions or system access related to:
notifications and routine reminders;
exact alarm scheduling;
alarm functionality;
foreground media playback;
vibration and wake behavior;
Do Not Disturb functionality;
displaying an alarm screen when necessary;
maintaining reliable playback or scheduled functionality.
ZenSound requests permissions only when they are required for application features supported by the device and operating system.
You can review or change permissions at any time through your Android device settings. Disabling a permission may prevent the related ZenSound feature from working correctly.
User-created ZenSound content is generally retained locally on your device until you:
delete the relevant item;
reset applicable application data;
clear ZenSound's application storage;
or uninstall the application.
Device operating system backup and restore features may affect whether local application data is restored after reinstalling ZenSound.
Because IP Core Studio does not currently operate a ZenSound user account or cloud-storage service, IP Core Studio does not maintain a remote copy of your alarms, routines, favorites, mixes, session notes, or Calendar history.
Information processed by Firebase, Google Mobile Ads, RevenueCat, or other third-party providers is retained according to those providers' own policies and technical requirements.
ZenSound is designed to minimize the amount of user-created information transmitted outside the device.
Local application data is protected by the security mechanisms provided by the Android operating system and application sandbox.
Third-party services used by ZenSound use their own security measures for information transmitted to their systems.
However, no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
ZenSound does not intentionally ask users to provide personal profile information such as a name, personal email address, or account credentials.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe that personal information relating to a child has been provided to IP Core Studio, please contact us at ipcore.studio@gmail.com so that the matter can be reviewed.
ZenSound relies on third-party services that operate under their own privacy policies and terms.
These include:
Google Firebase;
Google Mobile Ads;
RevenueCat;
Google Play services related to purchases and application distribution.
Their data-handling practices are controlled by the respective providers and may change independently of ZenSound.
This Privacy Policy may be updated when ZenSound's features, third-party services, data practices, or legal requirements change.
When the policy is updated, the effective date at the top of this page will also be updated.
Users are encouraged to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
