Last updated: 9 October 2026
Zenarc is a fitness app built and operated by an individual developer (“I”, “me”). This policy explains what information Zenarc collects, why, and who receives it.
Contact: svipes.office@gmail.com
1. Information Zenarc collects
Your profile and training
Player name (up to 15 characters, chosen by you)
Which story you picked (male or female)
Training level and equipment
Bedtime and wake time
Your training progress: days completed, day history and quests completed
This is kept on your phone and backed up to my server, so your progress survives a reinstall or a new phone.
Device identifier
Zenarc creates an identifier from your device’s ID (Android ID on Android, identifierForVendor on iOS). It is hashed before it leaves your phone. Your profile, progress and app activity are stored under it.
Google account (optional)
If you choose to sign in with Google, Zenarc receives your Google account ID, email address and name. They are used only to restore your progress on another phone. Signing in is not required.
App activity
Zenarc records which screens you open and which buttons you tap, together with the app version and whether you use iOS or Android. I use this to understand how the app is used and to improve it. These records are stored on my own server.
Purchases
If you subscribe, Zenarc keeps a record of your subscription: the plan, price, currency, status and dates. Your card, bank and UPI details are handled by Apple, Google or Razorpay and never reach Zenarc.
Advertising measurement
Zenarc includes the Meta (Facebook) SDK to measure which ads lead to installs and subscriptions. It reports app installs, app opens and subscription starts to Meta, along with basic device information such as device model, operating system and IP address. On Android, your advertising ID is also shared with Meta for this purpose. You can reset or delete it in your Android settings. On iOS, Zenarc does not ask to track you, so your advertising ID is not shared.
2. Permissions
Notifications: for your daily training reminders, scheduled on your phone.
Zenarc does not access your location, contacts, camera, microphone or health data.
3. Who receives your information
Convex (United States): hosts my server and database.
RevenueCat: manages subscriptions. Receives your device identifier, purchase records and the Meta and advertising IDs described above.
Apple App Store and Google Play: process in-app purchases.
Razorpay: processes UPI subscriptions in India.
Google: handles sign-in, if you choose to use it.
Meta: as described in section 1.
Unsplash: the reviews screen loads six profile pictures from Unsplash, which receives your IP address as with any web request.
I do not sell your information.
4. Keeping and deleting your information
Change it at any time in the app.
Delete Profile in Settings clears your data from your phone and marks your server profile and any linked Google account as deleted, so they are no longer used.
Permanent erasure: to have everything on my server erased, including app activity, email svipes.office@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my data”. If you signed in with Google, write from that email address. I will erase your data within 30 days. Purchase records may be kept where the law requires it.
Deleting the app clears it from your phone, but your server profile stays, so reinstalling brings your progress back. Your information is kept until you ask for it to be erased.
All information is sent over HTTPS.
5. Children
Zenarc is intended for people aged 13 and older. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used Zenarc, contact svipes.office@gmail.com and I will delete their data.
6. Child Safety Standards
Zenarc has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
What is prohibited. Anyone using Zenarc must not:
create, upload, share, request or promote CSAM
groom, sexualise, sextort, traffic or otherwise exploit a minor
use the app, or anything made with it, to contact or solicit a minor for any sexual purpose
use a player name or any other content that sexualises children
How Zenarc limits risk. Zenarc has no chat, messaging, public profiles, feeds or any way for users to contact or see each other. The only text a user enters is a player name of up to 15 characters, which other users never see.
How to report. Email svipes.office@gmail.com with the subject “Child Safety”. You can also report directly to the NCMEC CyberTipline (report.cybertip.org), the Internet Watch Foundation (report.iwf.org.uk) or your local police. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
What happens after a report. Every report is reviewed promptly. Where CSAE is found, the content and related account data are removed, the matter is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and the relevant authorities as required by law, and I cooperate fully with law enforcement.
Legal compliance. Zenarc complies with applicable child safety laws, including the obligation to report CSAM.

7. Accounts and server
Zenarc uses a server, to store your profile, your training progress, your subscription status and your app activity. You can optionally sign in with your Google account so your progress can be restored on another phone. Without signing in, your data on the server is linked to your device identifier instead.
8. Changes to this policy
If what Zenarc collects changes, I will update this policy and the date at the top.
