Give the following codes to Farore for items such as the Master Sword, Mirror Shield, Biggoron Sword, Bombchus. Note: You can only reach Farore after getting the Gift Of Time. And in order to get these codes to work you must talk to the corresponding "Secret Givers". For example, in order to get the Fairy secret to work you must talk to the lady by the fountain in Horon Village. You must use the "Holodrum secret" code for this code to work.
I have just beaten both of the oracle games on the 3ds virtual Console, however I can't seem to use the secrets system. I am only allowed by the game to input 5 letters, and with each secret being 20 letters long this makes it impossible for me to start a linked game and get more secrets. I only have the secrets to Holodrum and Labrynna, these are 20 letters but I don't know if the rest of the secrets are 5 letters each, or if I'm putting them in in the wrong place. I am also unable to find help on Google, so could someone who has either done this or knows how to do this help? Thanks

The Oracle of Secrets, also known as Farore, is an Oracle named after the Goddess of Courage. In The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages, Farore is in the Hall of Secrets. She's the sister of Din and Nayru as well. Though she doesn't sing or play instruments as Nayru does, or dance as Din does, she helps you out with the secrets you obtain through both Seasons and Ages.
Farore was going to be the main oracle of The Legend of Zelda: Mystical Seed of Courage. The game was dismissed due to linking errors. So instead of wasting her, they gave her a minor role in both Seasons and Ages. Either way, it seems The Legend of Zelda: Mystical Seed of Courage was a combination of Seasons and Ages and was going to use the same type of time loss system as the Temple of the Ocean King in The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. This explains her second name being the Oracle of Hours. But none of this was official, and the idea seemed to be ditched until The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass was released with the time loss system.

I'm starting up cold on the 3DS and I want to know how to transfer all my secrets from the old games to the new ones. I haven't been having any luck transferring my main secrets password from one game to the other.
Because the 3DS lacks any sort of capability to use the Game Link cable, the only way you could connect your old games to the new 3DS ones is by using the password system. The 3DS version seems to accept passwords and secrets the same way the original games did, so you should be able to input them with no problem, as the games are direct ports from the old cartridge versions, with no changes. (they even still mention using the Game Link cable!)
