Dying Light Update V1.4.0-RELOAD

So i was playing dying light 1 and i just collected a rais supply crate thing when i get thrown into the main menu with a message that says something along the lines of "profile in use has changed." and my only save was gone. i just got into old town in a hard new game+ play through. is there anyway to fix this? or is it just gone?

Dying Light is a first-person, action survival horror game set in a vast and dangerous open world. Then 3 weeks later Camera 2 went from 30% to dead overnight (but up to this point the battery had lasted 5 weeks so was quite surprised). But now same issue. Charged battery 2 and reinserted and exactly the same flashing red as when Canera 1 battery was replaced.

the weird thing is when the battery was reinserted in camera 2, on the app it showed the updated battery percentage in the list of devices but it won't stop flashing red, the live feed never loads and it won't reset, so it knows the battery is charged but won't actually go into live or record mode anymore. Or reset. Or work at all so two dead cameras. Rebooting hub doesn't make a difference and checking the hub status it says connection is good.

very upset that all it took was the battery dying to break both cameras.

bought in the UK in December 2022 and have done all firmware and APP updates.

No, DSLRs are not a dying breed - at least not directly due to the Mirrorless Interchangeable Lens Camera. There will be some pressure on the DSLR market from MILCs especially in the lower end, but the primary market is the upper end of the point-and-shoot, looking quality and flexibility.

Point-and-shoots are a dying breed. Basic models with minimal zoom & lacking features like waterproofing or similar can be had for $50; the only models that are desirable are superzoom or underwater cameras. This is simply because mobile phone cameras are progressing quickly, and are more than sufficient for almost all 'point-and-shoot' tasks.

The key point is that technology moves up, not down. People with DSLRs might buy a MILC as a second camera, but the feature compromise is too great at the moment to swap over. Its not a question of if but when. Every process of recording light is still being used today, and niche markets still remain for people to fill them i.e. large/medium/wet/alt so no one needs to debate that. DSLR's will alway be here and there will always be people to use them but it may have peaked and on a bell curve the only way is down. I am sorry to say that since I am just starting out but its just like peak oil, you peak then you decline.
