If this, then what?
Red Hat
Red Hat
As part of a new business pitch, we developed a microsite sharing the findings of Red Hat's 2019 Consumer Tech Outlook. The content on this page required distilling complex data in a way that made it easy for less tech-savvy managers to understand while still maintaining relevance for expert IT workers.
The Problem
How do you take a bundle of highly-technical survey results and make it engaging and impactful for in-the-weeds experts and high-level C-suite decision makers alike?
The Solution
Through a simple, customizable experience, users are able to dig in as deeply—or keep it as broad—as they like. Explanatory videos from Red Hat "experts" give digestible explanations of concepts and analysis of data. However, since we were not yet working with Red Hat, it required understanding high-level IT infrastructure concepts to write scripts that sounded like experts speaking naturally—rather than my coworkers reading a teleprompter.
My Role
Creative concept development, script writing, creative direction, web copy

Knowing the site would have a wide range of visitors, I organized the content to make it easy for users to find what they're looking for.
Data was pulled from the full report to give users a clear picture of the information, with the opportunity to dive deeper based on their role and experience.
In writing the scripts for explanatory videos, I sought to give an easy-to-understand summary of the major takeaways for major data points.
