The Collegiate Programming Examination (CPE) is hosted by the Association of Taiwan Computer Programming Contest (TCPC). This quarterly exam consists of seven programming-related problems which students have to solve within given time, and the solution provided will either be right or wrong. After solving the problems, students will receive the score right away based on how many problems they solved correctly.
Students in IBPI are required to pass the CPE in order to graduate. Students can meet the IBPI graduation criteria for CPE by solving two problems correctly in one exam or solving a total of three problems correctly in different CPEs. Only then they are eligible to apply for Practical Training or Special Project.
Be warned that if students are absent without any valid reason, they are not allowed to partake in the next CPE exam. If students are caught cheating in the exam, they will be punished according to YZU rules and regulations, they will receive 0 score for their exam, and are barred from taking the next three consecutive exams.
For more information about CPE and the exam date, please check the CPE website: https://cpe.cse.nsysu.edu.tw/ . You may select your preferred language using the site's Google translate tool.
