Who Am I

Hi, everyone!

I am an assistant professor in the Department of Statistics at the University of Seoul. I received my Ph.D. in Industrial&Systems Eng. at KAIST in February 2023, advised by Professor Il-Chul Moon. Before joining UoS, I worked at Agency for Defense Development as a senior researcher.

Research Area

 My research interest lies in improving the generalization ability of deep neural networks and their applications to relevant problems. I especially enjoy exploring and exploiting the uncertainty of deep learning.

Several research domains that I'm interested in are as the below.

• Generalization: Active Learning, Domain Adaptation, OOD Discovery, Data Augmentation, etc.

• Application: Object Detection, Semantic Segmentation, Target Tracking, etc
