Yvonne Shamsan

Yvonne Shamsan (Iwona Gapinska "Shamsan") is an inspirational, vegan songwriter, singer, recording artist, movie producer, photographer, performer, publisher, working with vulnerable people as an emergency response specialist carer, promoting human and animal rights.

Born and raised in Poland, she traveled in 30 countries with music contracts, also the contracts as the support worker, emergency response specialist carer with the disabled people and children.

Today Shamsan records, produces and publishes her music alone, also her activist movies, when possible, she works as a fast call response specialist carer, to find safety for her and her rescued pet 20 miles North of London.

Yvonne Shamsan released in USA a few singles (in years 2014 - 2016), and her first album "We Are" in 2016, she and the Nautilus Records producers in USA also prepared for the release the second and third album, but Shamsan could not compromise her honesty for the record label, and she could not give up her work as the activist for children and animals rights, what was explicitly pointed and required by the record label in USA, hence the second and third album were never released officially.

In 2017 Shamsan was ready with her two new albums (second English album and Polish album) working for Nautilus Records, the record label in USA, from 2014 to 2017, but she could not compromise her freedom of speech for fame and fortune.

In 2017 and the beginning of 2018 Shamsan was fighting poverty and homelessness in America, after she refused to comply with the requirements of her record label, who attempted to control Shamsan's freedom of speech, and although the record label didn't pay her belated salaries, tens of thousands of dollars for her work, that was meant to be paid in instalments, she ended up homeless, trying to save the life of her and of her pet down the streets in America, a mind control operation to break Shamsan down, to execute her total obedience, so Nautilus Records could finally start making Shamsan public, could start making profits from the money they invested in her during the 3 years of recording contract, and the money they invested in the quality American music producers, so as Dave Cochrane (former "The Commodores" with Lionel Richie), Jeff Nelson, Dave Cleveland and other top quality musicians involved in Shamsan's projects... Shamsan was working with animals and farming, when homeless and down the streets...

In the years 2014-2017 she worked as a recording artist for the Record Label in the USA, "Nautilus Records".

Since 1993, Shamsan has been working in different artistic events and music contracts professionally, she performed from her early childhood though, in different music events.

Yvonne Shamsan travelled 30 countries, working as a soloist singer, songwriter, front singer and band leader, also working with the vulnerable people and children, when she did not find her music contracts safe.

Shamsan keeps herself busy writing the lyrics, songs, recording the music projects, vocals, choirs, keyboards, movies, making the photo session, stylization, designs, sewing, she also highly recommends (in her activist records) cruelty free lifestyle and some delicious Vegan meals.

Shamsan worked for Nautilus Records MA in 2014 - 2017, writing the lyrics, songs, recording the new music projects, vocals, choirs, keyboards, with music consultations, translations, photo sessions, recording movies, preparing stylization, design.

In the years 2012 - 2014 she kept recording her new compositions, and also sewing, designing, making outfits for children and adults to assure her safety in the USA.

In 2012, Shamsan became a show time singer at the Manhattan, Byblos Restaurant in New York; was invited from the big group of the performers to present her solo show of her compositions in popular SideWalk Cafe in New York, and appeared in the Jazz & R&B clubs of Manhattan (Cleopatra, Village Underground, Sugar Bar,) singing the smooth jazz and R&B music with a warm applause of the audience, and started developing more of her new projects as a music composer. Her first album was released recently in March of 2016.

During the years of 2010 to 2011 she worked as a singer and band leader for Proship Agency Montreal and Royal Caribbean Miami,on board of "Independence of The Seas" Cruise Line at sea;

From 2009 to 2008, she became a soloist singer in Cyprus at 5* hotels located in Paphos, at the Athena, Mykonos, Cypria Bay,Saint George, and Aqua Sol Hotels and in Limassol. During these same years, she also performed in Germany, Switzerland and in some towns of Poland.

Between 2003 and 2007, Shamsan became a supporter for the Consensus Company in England, got a contract as the soloist and front singer in a ballroom band for the Proship Agency in Montreal and Princess Lines, on board of “Golden Princess” Cruise Line, and the contract as the soloist singer in Crowne Plaza Hotel 5* in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.

During the first eight months of 2005 she signed a contract as the soloist singer in Hawaii Grand Hotel 5* in Limassol,Cyprus,recorded some shows for Greek TV and performed In Krefeld, Hamm (Germany).

In 2003 and 2004 she performed in many towns and places of Poland as the soloist singer, the shows in the open were performed for some hundreds and thousands people each. Between 1999 and 2002 she worked as an artistic teacher and leader for children’s workshops (poetry, music and drama). Shamsan also has been doing solo concerts with original music,pop, ballroom, musical, smooth jazz, spiritual, dance, Latin and soul repertoire;  Laureate - the first place in the Festival of Entertainment Music in Chelmno, Poland. On 2001, Shamsan joined international Jazz Seminar in Poland with Susan Moninger the teacher from Berkeley College of Music, Shamsan was chosen (from about 150 Polish singers) to perform as one of the four soloists in the final jazz concert

presented by the director Susan Moninger in Music Academy

in Bydgoszcz, Poland.

From 1993 to 1999 , she Worked in the Polish music theater “Theater Of Entertainment” in Chorzow, Poland as the singer, actress and dancer in a thousands of the events, the musicals, so as ”Evita”, “Cabaret”, “Fiddler on the Roof”,  “Gershwin”, “Disquiet Ocean”,“Wizard Of Oz”, and many others.

At the “Theater of Entertainment” in Chorzow, she worked with top directors, choreographers, stylists and voice teachers of the Polish Music industry and completed other international workshops for professional singers. She also did many performances, concerts and musicals for the audience of all generations, including a wide variety repertoire for children. Some of her performances with the theater were in Warsaw, in the other towns in Poland and also in other countries. Many of these performances were recorded and transmitted by Polish and foreign TV. Together with the artists of The Theater of Entertainment in Chorzow she also performed at “The Dramatic Theater of Warsaw’s Palace of Culture and Science” and other big theaters in Poland and abroad.  

She studied singing with the professors of the best Music Academies in Poland and other countries, and in other countries; joined the International Jazz Workshops in Pulawy and Chodziez, Poland, and was selected as one of the soloists of the final concerts of these events, from some hundreds of the singers, and that was during the Summer holiday breaks from the work in the theater;

From 1992 to 1994 went to College for Professional Singers in Poznan, worked in the musical with the music of Krzesimir Debski in Bielsko Biala, Poland and, from 1988 to 1992 she studied  at the College for the Professional Seamstresses and Designers in Poland, “Technikum Odzieżowe We Wloclawku”

and started working as a seamstress in a Polish Factory.

From 1980 to 1992 she started being a soloist and a choir singer for Christian Music and also became the youngest singer and dancer in the traditional folk band, she performed in many performances at school;

Between 1982 to 1988 Shamsan was taking piano lessons; She has been a fashion consultant At the Red Carpet Gown salo, sewing high end evening gowns.

From the age of 3 year old Shamsan was singing solo and in choirs for family, in local bands, folk bands, poetry in music bands.

Today Shamsan keeps recording and publishing her songs and famous songs performed by her independently, working as a recording artist, singer, songwriter, audio and video producer alone, whenever time and energy allows, she works with vulnerable people in the UK, North of London.

Po czym oznajmil jej, ze jest bankierem, jej 100% wlascicielem, a ona jest jego 100% niewolnikiem... Po tym stwierdzeniu Ryan Rothschild usunal wszystkie obrazliwe komentarze, Shamsan nie zachowala na zdjeciach ich tresci, ale zdazyla zrobic zdjecia notyfikacji komentarzy Ryan'a Rothschild'a, oraz wiele innych zdjec, ktore do dzis zachowala jako ewidencje.

Po trzech latach kontraktu Shamsan rozwiązała współpracę z Nautilus Records, tuż przed wydaniem jej drugiego i trzeciego albumu, ze względów bezpieczeństwa, oraz próbując zachować osobowość i szczerość z odbiorcami swojej muzyki, co nie było możliwe na warunkach podanych przez Nautilus Records, którzy usiłowali kotrolować jej życie i naturalną szczerość, oraz jej pasję w pracy jako aktywistka przeciwko przemocy na dzieciach i zwierzetach.  

W latach 2012-2013 Iwona występowała w muzycznych programach w restauracji Byblos, Manhattan, NYC, przeprowadziła sie do Houston, Texas, a także dorabiała szyjąc dla prywatnych klientów i wykonując prace domowe. Iwona pracowała jako konsultant ubioru, technik produkcji odzieży i szwaczka w salonie z ubiorami galowymi Red Carpet w Monsey, NY, oraz nagrywała muzykę po godzinach.

W latach 2010-2012 i wcześniej pracowała nad nowymi kompozycjami, które ukazały sie na jej nowym albumie "We Are", wydanym w 2016 roku, pracowała jako wokalistka i leader zespolu dla RCCL Royal Caribbeans, na morzu, na szesciotysięcznym statku turystycznym "Independence Of The Seas", jako artysta dla Proship Agency Montreal, Canada, także pracowała w pracach domowych w dużych rezydencjach i prywatnych domach w stanie CA, USA.

Od kwietnia do sierpnia 2005 śpiewała jako solistka w Hawaii Grand Hotel 5* w Limassol na Cyprze, nagrywała show dla Greckiej telewizji i występowała w Krefeld, Hamm w Niemczech.

W latach 1993-1999 Iwona pracowała w Polskim teatrze muzycznym, Teatr Rozrywki W Chorzowie, jako artysta, wokalistka, tancerka i aktorka w setkach musicali: "Evita", "Cabaret", "Skrzypek Na Dachu", "Gershwin", "Ocean Niespokojny", "Czarodziej Z Krainy Oz" i wiele innych. W Chorzowskim Teatrze Rozrywki pracowała z czołowymi reżyserami, choreografami, stylistami, emisjonistami głosu polskiego przemysłu muzycznego, i brała udział w międzynarodowych warsztatach jazzowych - artystycznych dla profesjonalnych wykonawców.

Dorabiając do niskiej państwowej pensji teatralnej Iwona pracowała ze starszymi osobami, asystując, pomagając w domu, w barze kanapkowym, szyjąc. 

Od 1992 do 1993 Iwona byla studentką w Państwowym Studium Piosenkarskim w Poznaniu, studiowała w Technikum Odzieżowym dla Projektantów i Krawcowych we Włocławku, praktykując w popularnej Włocławskiej fabryce.

Od 1980 do 1992 Iwona śpiewała jako solistka i w chórze kościelnym, z muzyką Chrześcijanską-Sakralną, także pracowała jako wokalistka i tancerka w zespole folklorystycznym Kujawy z Radziejowa, w zespole "Narazie" w szkole średniej, gdzie wygrała pierwsze miejsce wraz z zespołem w rywalizacji muzycznych zespołów ze szkół z Wloclawka i okolicy. 

W latach 1982 do 1988 Iwona studiowała grę na fortepianie.
